Hi everyone! Thanks for checking in on the Saddle Song Farm blog. Since I already am updating Scott's website, my personal My Space page as well as helping Scott with his My Space page and all my client websites, I have decided to move my blog to My Space so I don't have to keep up with yet one more site.
Please read our blog and see photos at www.MySpace.com/SaddleSongFarm or visit Scott's page at www.MySpace.com/JamesScottThompson. Right now we've got pictures from the Dierks Bentley concert up there. Check them out! He was awesome and we were right up front!
Also, right underneath my profile picture, you can click on "View My Pics" to see my photo albums where I'll be posting my scrapbook layouts and various photos in albums there.
Thanks again for your blogging support!

I've always loved the idea that each day when you wake up, you can choose to have a good day or a bad day. Of course, this choice is often easier on the weekend! LOL! I stumbled across this quote on another blog I read and thought it was a nice reminder that, indeed, attitude is everything.
Great set of comments from Charles Swindoll:
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do.
It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way.
We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10 percent what happens to me and 90 percent how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.
Have a great day!! Dana
Wow! This year's First Friday concert was amazing!! The turnout was huge...some say it was the largest crowd ever for a FF concert. I think everyone we knew was out there. The band sounded great despite the fact they had a last minute drummer and guitar player. But actually everyone but Scott had all played together before, so it was like he was the new guy! LOL! They have already been asked back for next year and told to pick their month!
Hope you enjoy these photos from the concert!
Congratulations to Scott on being named Employee of the Month at Barnsley Gardens for the second time!! Way to go honey! As I write this he is enjoying a lunch at the Woodlands Grill (aka yummy restaurant at Barnsley).
Tonight is the First Friday concert, Rome's downtown outdoor concert series featuring Peachtree Station for June. We are hoping to pre-sell some of Scott's new CD and get some more emails for our growing email list. And the band is being videoed for entry into the new American Idol bands contest! Wish them luck!
Til tomorrow,
Dana
