Truly a blessed Christmas this year...

Posted by Dana Lynn Thompson

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers this week as Jazmin prepared to go into surgery this morning. I took her in fearing the worst and praying for the best. Our prayers were answered far beyond what we could have hoped. The vet called me at around 11am to tell me that Jazmin had a song to sing for me and it was "I'll Be Home For Christmas"!

Dr. Pate told me that it was better news than he imagined it would be. Jazmin had an infection in her uterus, not a mass as we first thought. The uterus had filled up with infected fluid and the toxicity of the infection was killing her. If we had not operated, she would have died. They removed her uterus and she is going to be just fine now. No cancer in sight!! I will be picking her up tomorrow morning at 10am and have her home for Christmas. It truly is a blessed Christmas this year and I've gotten the best present ever....more time with my sweet Jazmin.

Merry Christmas everyone!!
