Happy New Year from Saddle Song Farm!

Posted by Dana Lynn Thompson

They say as you get older, time goes by faster and faster. I believe this to be true as this year has just flown by. We enjoyed trips to Fontana Lake, NC, Charleston, SC, and Oklahoma City, OK. We lost our puppy Dillon in January and almost lost Jazmin twice in December. We rode horses, showed horses, fly fished, kayaked, scrapbooked, sewed, picked and grinned, and worked hard. I started a new job as PIO in February with Floyd County and Scott took over the horse program at Barnsley in September. We finished the stalls in the barn and had a concrete floor poured. I celebrated a 20 year anniversary with Bolshoi. We had the 3rd Annual Saddle Song Farm Bonfire Party with family and friends.

We lived, laughed and loved our way through 2005. Life is made up not of minutes, but of memories. We wish you many happy memories to be made in 2006. Remember to savor the moment, enjoy every second you have with your loved ones, live in the now. Simplify. We wish you peace.
