This evening at around 6pm the cyclists and their race teams cruised into Rome for a downtown finish of Stage 2 of the Tour de Georgia. We got to leave work at 4pm since the streets were closed down for the race. Scott headed downtown with his Smith Cycles custom mountain bike and his friend Chris to watch the race.

Scott saw the race teams' vans being detoured and stopped in front of the building where I work. Sure enough, there in the Discovery Channel Team van was Lance Armstrong. The window was open so Scott walked over and met Lance and shook his hand!! WAY COOL!! Wish I could have been there with the camera...what a scrapbook moment! Maybe I can find a few pictures of Lance and do a page to commemorate the occasion.

Now it is 10:40pm and Scott is downtown playing at Trey and Francis' bike shop Cycle Therapy. I have been working on a website redesign all night and honestly have no idea why I am still on the computer! Off to bed!
