Ok, I fell behind in my daily posts on "What I Did on My Christmas Vacation". So, here's the quick and painless version. Christmas was really great. It was so nice to have Dad here to celebrate with us. We went to see a Thrashers game on Saturday, December 23. AWESOME game and the Thrashers won 5-2. Christmas Eve we went to Karen and Kevin's for dinner and then home to open our presents to each other. I got a great new pair of Ariat FatBaby boots, a giant bottle of maple syrup, a pretty necklace and a wonderful jewelry box among other things.
Christmas Day we went down to K2's again to open gifts and have breakfast. The rest of the day we spent vegging in front of the television watching movies. Perfect since we had done a lot of driving in the last few days.
Last night Scott and I went to the Chick Fil-A Bowl to see Georgia play Virginia Tech. GREAT game...Georgia was slow starting but came back in the 4th quarter to win it 31-24. Very exciting!! Lots of scrapbooking content this week should last me a while!!
Tonight we are having some friends over for dinner and then hitting a party in downtown Rome. We are going to go up on a rooftop and watch the Rome Clocktower strike 12! More pictures to come! Happy New Year from Saddle Song Farm!
